Agatha Briscoe BiographyAgatha Briscoe has been with Shooting Star Solutions, LLC as a Senior Project Manager since 2001. She is a Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with more than 15 years experience as a project manager. Her background includes more than 20 years in both the private and public sectors performing in-depth system analysis and software development. Her roles have included applications support, systems analysis, implementation project management, risk management, independent verification and validation, and project oversight. Technical courses and seminars in software development, project management, and related fields have supplemented her degree in Mathematics.

Ms. Briscoe’s responsibilities as an information technology professional have spanned the entire spectrum of the system life cycle for small and large-scale information systems from initial concept, requirements management, and software development and implementation, to operations and maintenance. A seasoned communicator and trainer, Ms. Briscoe has briefed senior government officials and taught information systems and project management classes.

Ms. Briscoe is an active member of the Sacramento Valley Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI-SVC, Inc.) and IEEE. In her spare time, Aggie enjoys traveling and writing fiction as a change from the technical and analytical writing she performs as a consultant. She is a co-author of Distant Revenge, a medical murder mystery, and The Dreyre – The Saga of Little Owl and Fox Slayer, historical fiction exploring the experiences of Native Americans and African Americans in the Revolutionary War.

Ms. Briscoe holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Texas Southern University, Houston, Texas and has performed post-graduate study in Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles, CA.
